Palazzolo Acreide And Buscemi

An interesting little mountain town in the southeast corner of Sicily, Palazzolo Acreide stands near ancient Akrai, founded by the Greeks of Syracuse in 663 BC. You will visit the spectacular archaeological site with its theatre. Buscemi is a small town built of stone, where a large part of the old centre is maintained as a museum, illustrating the ancient crafts and trades of this area, and showing how people lived.
